Tim J. Klace has more than 35 years of experience helping taxpayers minimize their tax liabilities by providing tax advisory and preparation services including eighteen years as part of the tax practice of the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young. His experience includes working with numerous businesses operating as sole proprietors, S corporations, C corporations, partnerships, and not for profit entities, as well as high net worth entrepreneurs. Tim has provided guidance for businesses in various fields including those engaged in manufacturing, construction, distribution, real estate, technology, health care, and retail.
Tim has considerable experience in successfully representing taxpayers before the IRS and has earned the Certified Tax Resolution Specialist designation. This experience has included performing extensive technical support and strategy development for a law firm rendering taxpayer representation services in complex matters litigated before the United States Tax Court.
This experience has provided Tim the ability to develop creative solutions to a wide variety of complicated issues.
Tim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tax Problem Solver Resolution Services Coalition, and the Florida Institute for Certified Public Accountants. He is also the Treasurer of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association and is the past-President of the West Coast Chapter of the FICPA.
